Episode 48 - Witches

Welcome to episode 48, in which we discuss the role of the witch in pop culture and our own lives. What is it about magic-using women and the association with darkness and evil that gets us--and so many others--all fired up? We're doing our best to figure it out. Also, Merri's going to be on a panel at GeekGirlCon! Check it out here—it's the one on magical girls at 1:30 pm Saturday. Hope to see you there!

Mistakes: Missy keeps saying that Dave Eggers wrote The VVitch. It was actually Robert Eggers. But hey, Dave Eggers, if you want to come talk to us about Missy's problems with the film, you're welcome as well. Also, the comic Missy refers to in the end of the episode is Cry Havoc, not Cry Wolf. Someday she'll stop making these kinds of mistakes.
